rowing up in a family of talented artists in Wilmette, Illinois, Carolyn's passion for design developed at an early age. She earned her Interior Design Degree from the University of Wisconsin, became a professional member of the Interior Design Society and went on to work for a prominent North Shore interior design firm.

In 1986, Carolyn founded Rare Additions Interior Design and went on to build the company through referrals and repeat business. Over the years, she has focused on creating comfortable working relationships with her clients and using timeless principles of design to capture their personal taste and lifestyle.

Frequently, Carolyn has travelled out of state to work on exclusive estates, vacation homes and other special projects. She has also been recognized by the trade as one of Chicagoland's premier designers. Carolyn prides herself on the many beautiful home interiors she has created and her long list of satisfied clients.
